I have a water housing that I am putting on my 440 big block and I am not sure which hole this is for ( see picture # 1 ) Also, on picture # 2, where can I get the fitting that the hose goes on? Thanks everyone for the help!

I used that one for a temperature gauge, not sure if it's "correct" though?

the larger upper hole if your not using an external temp gauge , just plug that, the lower one is the 1/2 nipple heater hose.
