Driver Side Remote Mirror - Questions

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where I can pick up one of these brackets for the cable on the remote mirror?

Second, can someone explain to me were the 2 cable holders snap into the door at?  These are the 2 black rings that keep the remote mirror cables together, that have a pointed tip where they are suppose to snap into the door.

I had to get the bracket from Ebay
 the are holes near the hinge for the cable clips

Not all years used that bracket.  It might have only been 70 and 71.  My 73 doesn't have it.  It may not be needed.

My car had a small metal clip on the door beam that held the cables.  There are also two plastic clips that hold them inplace.  One of them goes by the hinges...I'm not sure where the other one goes.  I'm waiting until the side glass is in to route the cable permanantly.

Again it is unique to 70 , probably into 71 if yours is a 71 but maybe not all year , later years definatly did not have this bracket but used the plastic clips instead

Hey guys,

Thanks for the quick responses and hlep!  It is a 71 made in June/July timeframe.  It has the holes for the bracket so I am assuming it should have one.

I will give the guy who has one for sale a call.
