1972 Cuda For Sale
« on: May 19, 2011 - 12:04:28 AM »
Hello Everyone,
I have thought long and hard and have decided to sell my 1972 Cuda. I'm to busy and am not sure I will ever have the time and money to make it my way. Damn OCD!  Anyway it was from Alabama and has 61,000 miles the original motor and trans are now gone. It is a BS23 that had a 318, auto B5 blue exterior and interior with black stripes and luggage rack. The body in my opinion is great inner fenders are great the floors are nice, firewall and door jambs nice, roof is good. Will need the trunk floor replaced and lower quarter panels. The doors have a slight crease at the body line, so I have two replacements plus one NOS fender. I have an interior for the car the dashpad is junk but I have another that is great with one small crease. I have door panels and console all of which will need dyed blue. The seats need recovered and will need carpet, headliner. The grille is missing pieces and the lower has been fixed the bumpers are nice but need rechromed. What is missing is the pedistals for the luggage rack, the rear sway bar, curved trim on the rear quarter panels head light bezels and the chrome trim rings for the grille. The car will need a windshield as it is delaminating. I have a 1977 360 and 904 for the car. I bought spindles and the dust plates withe the brackets to convert the car from drum to disk brakes all powder coated a silver color. The car needs restored but is one that would be very nice to finish. I think that $7500.00 is where I'd like to start the price at, I've been buying parts for two years for the car. I have the trunk pan and lower quarters and trunk floor braces already. Email me cuda7275@yahoo.com The car is located in Northern Ohio....Thanks Chris

Nice. Id love to have another cuda. But as long as they are worth that much for basicly a shell. I will pass. Just got a 68 dart driver that's all there for $750 bucks. Still love cudas, but dang they cost a lot :money: but in know its worth it

My 72 barracuda was in roughly the same shape. Looks like it had more parts though, and I only paid $2k for that. I guess that's the difference between a barracuda and a cuda though.
Cuda is gone :(

Just my 2 cents here, but that sounds a little high,as i bought mine for $7500 in 08 as a running driving barracuda(BH23),the car was ordered with rally gauges, cuda hood,(basically all the good cuda stuff minus disc brakes and sway bars). The car has a perfect grille,318 auto,B5,black,black.I had to replace the carpet,it does need a trunk floor and lower quarters, had a repaint in the 80's by original owner(im the second owner),but i drive it as it is to shows and the like, not perfect, but mechanically sound, very happy with it,granted its not a "cuda",its a barracuda, but in 72 it was a 6 or a small block, and mine was ordered with the main cuda items soooo............here is a pic of the day i bought it and the way it is now.I think yours would sell at around 3500 to maybe 5000 in this buyers market economy.again just my 2 cents, and good luck with the sale.
