At one time, Inline tube had an issue with the e-brake kits. I think it had to do with the lenght of the main cable. Quite a few people said that the supplied cable was too short. If you have your origonal front cable, I would measure it and then verify what Inline tube sells just to make sure.
BE&A reproduced a grommet and sold it to Fine Lines. You can get it through them or I think you may be able to get it dirrectly from BE&A. I don't know if Inline tube's kits come with one or not. The grommet was supposed to be a factory correct part but it looked different then my origonal one on my 73. The origonal one was heavily corroded though so who know what it looked like originally. It gets covered in undercoating so it really doesn't matter to me.
The grommet was installed on the front cable and the cable was installed on the e-brake mechanism before the assembly was installed in the car. That means the grommet should snap in from inside the car.
