Whys my shop manual for a Challenger and Dart?

Hey guys,
I recentley last week went to Classic Industries to get the last of my body parts and pick up a shop manual. When i got my shop manual first thing i noticed is that its for the 70 Challenger and 70 Dart, i would think if any other mopars it would be both the E-body in one manual. Are these two mopars, Dart and Challenger, more similar then they appear?

The service manuals were aligned by make. My factory service manual is 1973 Dodge. So it covers all the Dodge cars for that year Challenger, Charger, Dart, and I think Polara. The 1973 Plymouth manual would have the Barracuda, Duster etc. Maybe Classic arranges their shop manuals similarly.

Yup, just how they made em. Even some of the dealer brochures in the showroom combined them. In '74, most eh Challenger brochures included Darts as well.

Just wait till you dig  in to some manuals where Chrysler refers to car lines by letters instead of body styles by letters. For example, V and L car lines are the smaller A bodies.  That one still trips me up.
