Do you have any idea how long it's been.....
« on: July 06, 2011 - 09:22:48 AM »
...since my toolbox actually looked like THIS?!?!?!

This would explain why I'm so happy since I just took these photos last night!!!

I haven't really seriously USED my tools since 2006 when I quit turning wrenches at shops and got into management.  Since then I've moved twice and just never gotten to reorganizing and cleaning things up.  Now I have this beautiful garage in the house I've owned for nearly a year and it's time to start workin' on my cars again!

Hey Jeff
I still feel bad about talking you out of your Cuda even though I still feel it was the best choice . I really wish you could have snagged the Blue cuda at Carlisle . Hopefully you can find a good buy soon , there are a lot of good deals on already restored cars with the economy in poor shape & get started tinkering on a better Cuda !!
I need to come & visit again & really wanted to be @ Carlisle but just couldn't swing it this year .maybe you need a warm vacation down south !!
Neil

Oh Neil you helped me make exactly the right decision for the time and immediate future.  I've moved twice since selling that 'Cuda and it would have cost me SO much more had I had to lug that thing around with me.  I loved that car dearly but today it'd just be in worse shape and I'm still in no financial situation to handle body work.  I can afford electrical stuff and mechanical stuff, but body/paint is a no-go for me!

I'm looking, and I'm looking harder.  I think the Viper is going to go bye-bye this year (I've just quit having fun with it, honestly) and I'm going to go back to something I enjoy more and can work on more.

Jeff,

if you need some extra money  :poopoke: you could always sell your "toolbox organizing" skills to member here............I know I could use some help.  :grinyes:

Glad to see you still stop in once and a while.  Let us know first if you decide to sell the Viper.

Ermm, not exactly...  I just owe much less on it then it's worth, so that's good.

Trust me, I will probably never be one of those "paid cash for my Viper" kinda guys.  :)

Ok so maybe it is not paid for !!
I am sure you are making decent $$ now though and in a couple of years you should buy the 2013 Viper for cash !!

Actually I'm keeping that option open in the back of my mind - I'll get rid of this one and all it's little problems, then pick up one of the newer GTS coupes when THEY start to hit "good deal" prices...

I just want to be back with my e-body buddies.  :)
