Opinions on this E-body speaker grill
« on: July 10, 2011 - 01:57:15 PM »
My speaker grill has the typical sun caused warpage. I tried to reform the original with a heat gun, results aren't that great.

Anyone have experience with the aftermarket pieces?

I'm looking at this:

The link has been removed.

I thought the heat gun would be the best approach. I guess since they dry rot, they become harder.   :dunno:

Yes, the plastic is extremely hard.  The part did reshape, but didn't turn out nice.

Try this,
