440, 400, 8 ¾ rear ends - free delivery to Carlisle
« on: July 05, 2011 - 03:26:08 PM »
I have a few parts to sell - not trying to get rich, just trying to get some of my money back and make some room. I can deliver everything at Carlisle and if you’re interested in more than one thing, I am willing to deal more. Sorry for the lousy pictures, if you want more pictures just let me know. Everything is OBO.

$200  - 1977 440 – Shortblock only (cam, rods, pistons, crank, block) cast crank engine, needs to be rebuilt….sold as a core.

$200 - 1972 400 longblock - has a thin dampener on the front and may be a forged crank engine, not sure and didn’t care because I was going to build a stroker out of it. Was told when I bought it that it ran strong and was pulled due to a blown transmission. I never opened it up and verified the condition of it. The engine has 346 heads on it and would make a great stroker engine, as the 72s are ‘supposed’ to be one of the better years.

$??? - Big block 727 – Needs to be rebuilt, but will make an excellent core….just don’t know what they are worth. Open to offers

$200 - 1970 Passenger’s fender – was rusty, but patched up and looks pretty good. Was done by professional bodyman and I have before pictures (need to find them). The fender has a filler primer on it, which is dirty from sitting on my car for a while. A good fender, but needs work to be perfect. Hope to post pictures *soon* but message me if you're interested.

SOLD – Ebody 8.75 rear end (housing, centersection, axles) – This is the rear end that was original to my car, only replaced it because I went with a B-body rear end. Worked perfectly when removed; it has a 489 case with 3.23 open gears.

$75 – Ebody 8.75 rear end (housing & axles) – I bought this as part of a complete rear end because I wanted the centersection. This is just the ebody housing and axles.

1970  Challenger hood – The hood is a flat hood that now has a fiberglass 6-pack hood scoop on it. The style of hood looks great; unfortunately the scoop does have an outline where it was installed. It will need some work done to it and be repainted. Hope to post pictures *soon* but message me if you're interested.

the 400 is a cast crank. If I had a way of getting it home, I'd buy it
