73 RR compatibility
« on: July 09, 2011 - 03:33:41 PM »
Wondering what parts will work in an ebody from a 73 road runner.
I know the console will work, but what else?
K frame?

Obviously the front seats and probably the dash would bolt in but '73 and up B bodies have that floating front suspension that is a completely different design then the earlier B bods and E bods.

A '73 Road Runner is much more closely related to a later Cordoba then an earlier Charger or 'CUDA.

So, pretty much just the buckets and console.

Steering column and wheel the same?

All the suspension , diff , K frame , steering column are different , the seat can be recovered to work as earlier seats
Not a whole lot really !!

Ok, I have to ask, how do you know that.

I don't know these cars very well as I have YET to own one.

I always liked those '73 hoods.  So cool with their funky little vents.
