My '71 Challenger came with power front disc brakes. I am starting to look at prices to rebuild them. I have also seen prices for the kit that is used to convert front drums to front disks, which has the whole new setup (spindles, calipers, disks) that uses larger 11.75". Are the original e-body disks decent enough to keep, or is the conversion kit with the larger disks the way to go? Also, it seems like the consensus is to go with manual brakes and ditch the booster. Is that true? And if I do use the conversion kit, is there one out there that is better than the others (Master Power, Right Stuff, etc.)?
