I purchased 2 reproduction clips ( they mount with a screw in the metal channel where the weatherstrip attaches ), the new clips do not fit in the channel. Also they do not have the rubber like coating on them as the originals did. I do not recall where I bought them. Anyone else run into this problem? Are these clips mandatory? They seem to hold the door glass from rattling. Are there any sources for these that are made properly? Thanks John.
