Heater control valve for A/C car
« on: May 17, 2011 - 01:43:31 AM »
It`s probably been asked before but can anyone tell me where I can get the correct heater control valve that mounts on the right-side inner fender on a `70 383 SE Challenger? I have had a small leak on that side for awhile and I was thinking it was coming from an exhaust manifold stud but to night I finally saw a crack in the top of the round part of the valve.  :horse:  :pullinghair:  :working: Thanks for any help in advance  :2thumbs:     Ken northern  :canada:

What is the correct factory part number for this valve? I found 3502346 but when I called the dealer to see if they could look it up, the parts person said that the number wasn't for E-bodies. Is it the correct number and his listing wasn't or is there another more correct number?

If you need one I have a spare unit for sale. I bought another one on ebay but when compared to the old one both act the same i.e. when shut off they do not pass water and my problem was with bad vacuum actuator not the water valve.
