Good company, Bill Reilly's RMS Motorsports
« on: July 14, 2011 - 01:32:59 PM »
Today, I had a rather unpleasant experience. The shock on my Alterktion  broke.
I called Bill Reilly, since I needed to get a new one. I will say that his response to this incident really show what kind of company this is. He wanted to replace the shocks on both sides, and also wanted to know if I had the same ones in the rear. He also replaced them for free "because this is not supposed to happen".

So he was prepared to replace all the dampers on my car on his expense, four years after he sold them to me.
He will also ship them to Norway, which will cost him some $$ too.

I will say that RMS Motorsports stand up for their product and support their customer if **** happens.

Try getting that kind of customer service out of one of the big companies.  Never gonna happen.

Wow!  That type of customer service is unheard of now a days!  4 years later too!

Never heard anything bad about the man or company! Top notch! BUT those Varishocks are SH*T!! My brother has those on his TCP equipped Mustang. The same thing happend to his rear damper. Broke strait off! And he has replaced both in the front becouse the lid don't grip it's threads. TCP would not replace the rear damper. But then he went on lateral-g and asked why Steven Rupp got his VariShocks replaced cost free. End of story he got a new damper.  ;)

That's pretty much what Bill said too, in politer words. He only sold them for about six months because of that. I got QA1 shocks all around now.

Happy to hear that your brother got his free replacement shocks too, even if TCP wasn't initially as serviceminded as RMS.

I can also vouch for them. Very rapid response to any questions. One of the few companies around that take their business seriously!  :2thumbs:
