Changing the brake shoes

So I've got drum brakes all around on my 72 Challenger. And I've run into abit of an odd situation. There is this peg that has been pressed into the brake shoe that needs to be removed so I can transfer it over to the new brake shoe, on the how to videos on brakeshoes, it always seems like this peg is held on by a C clip, mine is just pressed in there. How do I go about dealing with this?

If needed I can take a picture and post it up. I hate how its always the small things that stop you during a project.

they usually include new pins with new brake shoes , you can take a pin punch &  & drive the pin out though , I assume this is the pin at the bottom for the adjuster cam .

Totally found the pin hiding in the bottom of the box.. Well I feel special now. Do I need a press to get these pins in though?

Just drive them in with a hammer.
