Trustworthy, reliable Classic Car transport
« on: September 26, 2011 - 12:37:55 AM »
My 6 speed Tremec conversion is nearing completion :working:. It's all taking place in California (where I used to live) and now I need the car to be transported up to me in Chicago. The Car is currently a non runner- it will have the block installed and the gearbox but it has no grill or lights or bumpers etc but rolls easily.
I am open to good trusted suggestions of transportation. A bloke with a Diesel Ram and an enclosed trailer would be ideal

I have had cars transported before, via bigger corporate companies and have rarely been impressed- my Jaguar (which Had just been resprayed) came back with scratches) and other cars have come back filthy. So I would prefer a small business - small reliable person with enclosed transporation. The car has parts in it, in boxes, such as clutches, bolts, brackets etc so I don't need a big corporate getting finicky about all the car bits within it.

So any suggestions would be appreciated.
