I have to disagree on the high impact colors I have seen alot of camaro's , challengers and chargers that are new on the road that a wearing similar colors. People still have a apettite for them. They really brighten up the freeway through the depressing whites , burgandies, and grays.

My question is what do you plan to do with the cars.  If you are flipping them, and have an equal amount invested in each car, I would say the Challenger.  If you plan to keep one, I would say Cuda.  This depends on what you already have into each car.  For instance, if you got the Cuda dirt cheap, then the extra $20,000 would not be so bad of an investment.  Especially, if you already have $20,000 into the Challenger.  There are many aspects to the equation.

I think I see yur dilemma, when you're done the Cuda may be worth about $20k - $25k more but $20k more to get there. As Challenger6pak said it depends what  you have into the cars at this point & if you really want to tie up an extra $20k in a Cuda in this economy.  If I didn't already know you could do all the work yourself and yoou were some newbie  I would say sell them both now and try and make some money instead all the work and ending up in the red.

I agree with some others, the extra 20k for the Cuda kills the deal. You won't recover that on the sale.
Less work, 4 speed, plum crazy, Challenger for sure.

I agree with Crocha, sell both of them and buy a done car.  It isn't always that simple is it Cody.  I know.  I have 4 here that need done.

Great help guys, but it keeps coming back to 6 of one and half dozen of another.... either way I end up with the same result.  I sold two projects, but still have a deep list of cars that need to be done.  Since this is a hobby, I guess I'll just do both.  Now I have to figure out if I take the 440+6 back to F8 green and auto or go to a high impact color and 4 speed?  :faint:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

If you are going to sell the Cuda, I would go high impact and leave it an automatic.  It may be worth more as a non numbers matching 4 speed, but the conversion cost is about the same as the increase in value.  Value aside, the Cuda will sell quicker as a 4 speed.  It is back to 6 of one, half dozen of the other.  How much work you want to do is going to make your decision as far as the transmission goes.

I'm actaully thinking the opposite of Challenger6pak this time. Keep the Cuda Green and do a 4speed. That would be easier to switch  back to original later if you sell and the buyer wanted it that way. I think we're confusing you more.  I know I 'm torn  and they're not my cars. I guess you could always flip a coin and see what fate hands you. Anyway  good luck .

Since neither car is numbers matching, the lower cost and more desirable options make the Challenger more attractive to me if you only keep one of them.

If you keep the Cuda, is it a slapstick or column automatic?  If column, I would be at least go with the slapstick or even a manual transmission.  Unless you are taking it completely apart, I would stay with the F8.  If you are doing a full restoration, I couldn't resist the chance to go with a more desirable color.

I like the Ivy green and they look great with black interiors, and e-bodies are the ONLY ones that look good if the interior is green to match. A plumb Crazy challenger is hard to overlook especially with a 383 or bigger / 4 speed  and a Big block!!!!

440 Shaker Hood car

Neither of these offer their original motor so peak value will never be obtained. As match as I prefer Challenger's over Cuda's, the Challenger is just a base model R/T. As cool as they are, nothing says awesome like a 440 Shaker Hood.

If it comes down to selling, you'll probably have an easier time selling an original Shaker Hood car.
