changing to hei distributor

I am changing to HEI style distributor and super coil on my 1973 Challenger I know I need to remove ballast resistor but what should I do with the wires that are connected. I have a little experience but am still learning can anyone help thanks Darin

the dark blue wire into the ballast resistor is the 12v switched power you need to connect to the HEI to power it , the rest fo the wires will no longer be used as they power the coil & ECU

You need to hook the brown wire to the blue wire then hook it up to power the HEI or else you wont have juice in the start position.
