I've got a 73 340 that I'm going to be building for the Barracuda.  My goal is for it to be 70's 'period correct' so I'm either going to use the stock iron manifold with an original 73 440 Carter Thermoquad Carb or an Edelbrock LD340 (complete with Chrysler part number) intake and the same carb.  If you're not as concerned with originality I've heard nothing but good things about the Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a matching Edelbrock Thunder Carb, say a 750 cfm.  Of course all this depends on what other mods you have or are going to do but either of these setups will be good for plenty of power.

I would use a Edelbrock RPM Airgap & A Proform 750 carb
