Huge thanks to Dave, aka: Mopar Fanatic!
« on: September 13, 2011 - 06:42:14 PM »
Gotta say a big thankyou to Dave, cheers mate!
Dave went out of his way to help out a fellow mopar fan from New Zealand.
I wanted to buy a set of fibreglass fenders and hood, but the seller would only accept cash on pick up and wasn't willing to ship the parts.
So Dave went and picked up the parts, paid for them with money I transferred to him, boxed them up, and supplied me with the details of shipping company who gave me a great deal.

Thanks so much mate!

It's this kind of thing that makes being part of a community like CC.com such a pleasure!

The fenders, hood and a bunch of other parts (54 boxes, nearly 1000lbs!) just arrived here in NZ, all accounted for and no damage.
Once the car is finished I will post a thread thanking more individuals and companies, as I've had a great deal of excellent help and service throughout this project.

Cheers!
Aaron

:ylsuper: Hello again aaron,i was glad to help you out.i've been wondering how long they would take to get over to new zealand from minnesota.it sounds like the hood and fenders arrived in good shape.
I was actually thinking at first to put all three parts in a wooden crate and ship em out that way but figured it woulf have been quite a bit more for shipping charge.it,s a long way from here to there and i'm really happy they made it there in one piece.  :bananasmi
i'm waiting to see how your car comes out with light weight pieces and that six pak hood on it,should look bad a$$.i see jason has a couple of glass doors and a lower front valance for sale here in the parts section posted a couple days ago.need any light weight doors???? LOL

now we all will be waiting for the finished product.

to you aaron

:ylsuper: A salute to Aaron to put his trust in a Yankee :nzflag: And a salute to Dave :wavingflag:  for going out of his way to accomplish this transaction for a CC Mopar enthusiast
Maybe Arron and Dave have found a new avenue  were we can support all of our Mopar friends across the pond with aquiring parts.
