Need some input guys

Does anyone know if this is what this is suppose to look like..I'm in the process of stripping the car all the way down and I seen this,and before I start to weld anything in I was wanting to make sure..thx

I see what you mean, looked at mine it is together all the way down.
  Across the top of the opening the metal is bent, it should be straight

I see what you mean, looked at mine it is together all the way down.
  Across the top of the opening the metal is bent, it should be straight
what's not making any since is there is no frame rail damage so I'm kinda lost..I guess I can clamp it and weld it..just not sure..does anyone have any pics of theirs

Thx bullitt..I think I'm going to take it to a frame shop and have it checked The little hole metal is bent in I'm not sure if it was done putting a motor in the car because headers went thru that..well I'll see..just hate to waste money on a frame shop and nothing be wrong..but I would hate to get deep into this and find out
