B-body spindles
« on: January 13, 2005 - 07:08:38 AM »
Did anyone see the new mopar muscle ?

There is an article in there about how you can use the late model B-body (1973 and up) front brake
spindles on E and A-bodies  :puke:

Same with the F-body spindles :burn:

Do you know how many of those I have thrown away over the years? :eeksmall:

Take a look at this old article too, it explains the whole swap:

I'm with you GO, but that article is about swapping bigger rotors and calipers on E,B and A spindles

I'm talking about using the spindles out of later model Mopars and swapping them into our E-bodies

I was always told you can't do this but this article sez you can :P

Anyone else have comments?

That's the main reason I'm surprised to see it in a major magazine

woudl telling them how to do it be the same as telling them it will work?? i figured if you told them how that you couldn't get into trouble if you told them it might not work or something...maybe i'm wrong..but i dont' think anyone here woud take you to court if it failed... maybe i'm wrong though..

I thought the B and F body spindles were too tall or something.
