I watched em all was always looking for the rare mopar in the crowd. I do think it was getting more balanced and less biased as the show went along. they were lighting up the tracks all over the country and keeping racing alive. I don,t slam em at all.

Um, no.....The ONLY time I thought Rich was worth watching I missed it...When he dumped that bike and it got played over and over and over..Moron who knows Nothing bout "Grass roots" type drag Racing..All PINKS did was give the high dollar guys a chance to get on TV....

I mean WTF wants to lose a $10K car? All because it hiccuped and coughed a worm at the starting line? Setting cars out 25 lengths? C'mon...Sh*t show, and good riddence..

Now they want to actually show real time drag racing in Grass roots type form, bring back the LOW DOLLAR cars running in the high 12's- Low 13's....

NO Nitrous, No Super high dollar Turbos'/ Superchargers, just good ole fashioned ingenuity...

AMEN to all that.  I would bet there were a few lawsuits against that show...I can see some whiner who lost a race and thus his car suing...its the world we live in.

Plus, something else I didnt care for the most is how they would give one car a car length or time or whatever.....F that.     A drag race should be a drag race with no "give backs" by one car because it is faster......if you dont want to race a car with a blower or nitrous, dont race it or equip your car to be as fast.  Classes I get......givebacks not so much.

Still, I enjoyed watching the show now and then.

But yeah, that guy dropping his arms.....talk about dramatic overkill...LOL

We got a guy here that was on PINKS. Blue [Suposedly] Sox & Martin Duster, with 500 C.I. low deck wedge in it. Runs pretty good. His family owns a Dealership..Has money. $70K car, and got outrun in the final round by a fox body Mustang with 460 and Nitrous...He's now considered a duchebag at the local shows. Never came to the shows before he had that pink decal on his window....

Yeah TV sucks without Old school muscle battling it out, My hopes for good TV are on the shoulders of Biffle, Schumacher, and John Force.

  Pinks was getting better they just did not spend enough interview time about the cars and the drivers the show really could be great and even better. I did not like the premise of the 1st show but in the end it was run what you brung. Just not enough shows were dedicated to factory stock racing I like to see 10 sec cars every once and a while but i drool  :bigshades:over factory performance even if it is in the 12 to 13 sec class.


  Hope they have a new season and format lighting up the tracks across America. Go PInks DO IT!!
