Why Men should not write advice columns
« on: October 12, 2011 - 11:01:44 AM »
Dear John
I hope you can help me . The other day I set off for work , leaving my husband at home watching TV as it was his day off . I got a couple of miles & the car stalled & would not restart so I had to walk back to get my husbands help to get the car running again . When I returned home I could not believe it my husband was in our bed with the neighbors daughter !
I an 32 & he is 34 & the neighbors daughter is 20 , we have been married for 10 years now . I confronted him & he broke down & told me they had been having an affair for 6 months . He will not go to counselling , I am a wreck & do not know what to do , can you please help .
Sincerely, Sheila

 Dear Sheila
Having a car stall after a short drive can be caused by a variety of problems . You did not state the year of the car or if it is carburated or EFI . Start by checking  the choke for sticking  or carb icing in cold weather . The problem could also be in the fule system the fuel pump wether carburated or EFI could be failing causing low fuel pressure of delivery rate , you will need to check the fuel system for pressure & fuel flow . The problem could also be the fuel filter itself if it has not been changed for a while or if dirty fuel  clogged the filter up . If none if these correct the problem you could have an electrical problem which can be very hard to trace , you need to look for exposed wires or failed harness supports causing the wires to sit or rub on hot surfaces etc .
 I hope this Helps
 John

It's pretty clear to me that a man should always make sure his wife's vehicle won't break down or....Umm, things could get sticky.   :scared:

She probably ran it out of gas. Which reminds me, I need to go fuel up the wife's truck!
