Fenderquestion again

Since I replace the innerfenders and radiatorsupport, will that make the sensibility of fitting less regarding the
Goodmark/Shermanfenders or does it all lay in the lines of the fender itself?

I got the goodmark fender to fit very well. It took some time to line it up. It is the lower body line mine has a problem with. If you look close you can see the line and how it is messed up. It is all in the body lines.

I purchased a Goodmark fender from Daniel at Ebody Products for my 71 Cuda. It fit very well -- much better than the original fender I had on there to begin with -- and Daniel was GREAT to work with.

I'm still waiting for AMD but now I have to take a decision if I should keep on waiting or buy Goodmark/Sherman because I can't continue
with the rear of the car if the front isn't aligned I have understood.

I have a AMD shakerhood, could that be a problem fitting a Goodmark fender to it?

Will AMD ever release their front fenders?

I was told that you want to start with the rear since it isn't adjustable once it's welded.  Then alighn the doors to the quarters.  Then you can fit the fenders to the front of the doors.  That's just what the guy who did my car told me.

Very interseting that the bodyguys I talked to here and there told me to align the front first.

What I have learned about aligning panels is that you need to start somewhere. If your quarters are toasted start at the front etc. as long as you start at one end and not at the doors.  I worked from the back forwards on mine.

I went from the quarters forward too,  but I still had quarters. Seems pretty difficult to me to work front to back. It`s not difficult to have the complete front section looking good but in the wrong position on the car.

Yes,start from the back and work forward as the quarters are welded on and the rockers etc. do not adjust.The doors, fenders and hood all adjust.

Like I said in another post, AMD has been stating 3 months out for about 3 years. I have personally contacted them, and offered to be a test fitter just to get one!  Anyway, if you are waiting and think you may have the car done in the next 2 years, go Goodmark or nice used.
