My Conservative talk radio show..my other hobby and passion
« on: October 20, 2011 - 12:23:25 AM »
I just wanted to share something with you all that is one of my true passions.  When I'm not thinking about or wrenching on the Mopar, I'm discussing politics.  I'm 19 right now and a freshman at Appalachian State, and I describe myself as a Reagan conservative.  A little over 3 years ago, I got sick and tired of the local and national media and how they covered the 2008 election.  So on my own time, with my own resources, and own creativity, I started my own conservative talk radio show (more like a podcast) that I would put on the internet for people to listen to.  3 years later I can't believe where it has taken me.  The Jeremiah Farmer Radio Hour is online at wix.com/jeremiahfarmer/radiohour...which will be renamed www.jeremiahfarmer.com after we buy a domain name with the donations we have received.  On the site, I manage daily news updates, emails, and upload my weekly conservative radio show online.  It comes in 5 parts, and you can go to the site and listen to whatever part you want. The show is now listened to in numerous states, and is very popular throughout the South.  We advertise the program as the most listened to conservative talk show on the internet, and locals have nicknamed me "the Liberals Worst Nightmare."  :P Because of hosting the show, I have spoken at numerous Tea Party events, including last month in Wilkes County which was one of the largest Tea Party's ever in NC.  In 2010, I received the 2010 COST Association Conservative Activist of the Year Award, and I've been featured on ncfreedom.org.  I just have to give all the glory to God for the success of this.  I'm not a political elite who loves government...I'm just a normal person who pays very close attention to the news, has studied history, and found out that the Reagan and Coolidge model of economics works!! I'm not here to boast or sell anything, I just thought I'd share this off topic conversation haha.  So if you lean conservative, and want to hear a concerned citizen's views on things you can check us out at wix.com/jeremiahfarmer/radiohour, email me at jeremiahfarmer@gmail.com to get email updates, find us on facebook or follow us on Twitter at JF_RadioHour.  I know I'm young but believe me I have studied history and live the American dream everyday I'm alive...you can take a listen for yourself!  Anyway thanks for letting me share this with you all....now its time to install a hood latch

This is awesome! Good job. Ever hear of Hillsdale College? You should transfer, LOL. Look up some of Reagans speeches at Hillsdale in the late 70's. They're on YT.

Jeremiah, That’s great!
Congratulations on your award, as well.
When I can, I listen to Glen Beck, Rush, and Sean Hannity.  Here in OKC they’re aired that in that order.
Because of where I work, the A.M signal doesn’t penetrate the concrete walls.  So, I only get Beck & Rush during smoke breaks.
Luckily, I get off work at 3:30, so I get almost all three hours of Hannity.

Keep up the great work.  I’ll listen in and give you a try
Take care,
Ron

Sweet!! Maybe you'll be the next Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck! I think Internet radio and shows is the next wave like www.GBTV.com. and www.theblaze.com.

There are many things I am learning about american history  from conservative radio talkshows that have been scrubbed from the learning carriculum over the last 100 yrs. Like the fact that the US paid 8 percent ( which eventually rose to 18 percent and higher ) of the federal budget during the 1st 8yrs of the American US Republic to muslim nations that were attacking our shipping. It was not until Jefferson proposed a fund to build a fleet to deal with the threat and Adams ,( the father of the American Navy ) actually built it that we were able to send Marines into the area and conduct a 5 year war to eliminate the threat. ( The 1st war on terrorism ) Later during the war of 1812 the muslim factions started attacking again because we had our hands full with the brits again. So we sent the fleet back over after the 1812 war was over and kicked the crap out of them again to stop the piracy. This is where the line in the USmarine Corps hymn " from the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli" came from. It is also were marine adopted the Leatherneck protection on the uniforms to combat the muslims who were constantly trying to behead them in battle. The muzzies would coat themselves in tar oil light themselves on fire and try to rush onto the US ships in port to burn them down. Sound Familiar!! Bet you didn,t know that!!

Of course I've heard of Hillsdale!! I was thinking about going there, absolutely great school, but couldn't afford the out of state.  But yeah aren't Reagan speeches so inspiring compared to "The Messiah" giving his diatribes on spreading the wealth around?! Also get a kick out of all the Communist jokes Reagan told  :roflsmiley:

Jeremiah,  Sound like an interesting hobby but truely . . . . this is not the place for politics.  Politics and religion are topic that just don't work on the car forum.  I for one am very knowledgeable when it comes to religion and have my own personal view as to how it all works but I don't talk about it here.  Please don't take it the wrong way but let's stick to car talk please.  Thanks

Ah my bad.  I didn't want to start political talk at all, I know how that can be...I just wanted to share my other hobby with people, thats all.  That's why I put it in off topic, cause I just wanted to tell about my interests, since other topics on that part of the forum were weather, and the World Series.  Didn't intend to start political debates, just telling a little more about myself.
