    Possible to remove handle from the interior hood release assembly?

    The brake release handle is push pinned on, but it doesn't look like the hood handle is. Am I missing something or does this handle not come off?

    What are you trying to do?  Is the hood cable broken?  I think new hood cables are available.

    Going to refinish the handle. Was hoping I could take the handle off without removing the whole assembly. Just being lazy, I guess. :-)
