AC Heater Cable routing - need picture/details
« on: November 05, 2011 - 10:59:41 PM »
Adding AC to my non-ac car and need to know where the hole for the heater cable comes through the firewall as well as the size of hole. Pictures and measurements would be great. Drilling a hole in the firewall is something I don't want to get wrong.

Thanks again.

:wave:hej.all i know is that there where 2 different locations for the hole,as on my -70 cuda below the fan motor, and on the other side at the master cylinder on other cars.dont know why,but there is a thread about it somewhere.on my car the cable goes through a grommet attatched by 3 screws, and on the version where the cable exits by the mc,the cable is held on to the fire wall by a" christmas tree" plastic retainer thing(smaller hole). thats all ive got.

Thanks. I think I'll post a reference to this thread in the body queue since it's sort of a body issue.
