need oil pan advice for 70 cuda
« on: October 28, 2011 - 07:43:04 AM »
I have a 1970 cuda with a 440.  The car currently has a 8 qt mancini racing pan.   The thing hangs down way too low and is always scraping and now has a little hole in it from constantly scraping the ground.  Any ideas on good pans out there I could replace this one with that won't scrape the road all the time?

I am in the process of replacing my 440 source 7 qt pan for the same reason.  Chryco suggested using a 6 qt HEMI pan.  I bought a Milodon Hemi pan from Mancini and it looks basically like a stock pan but holds 6 Qts.  Mancini part number MIL30761 for the pan and #18660 for the 3/8" pickup.  $163.95 for the pan & $33.95 for the pickup tube.   :2thumbs:
