    St. Louis mechanic needed

    Does anyone know a good mechanic I could bring my challenger to in the Saint Louis, Missouri area?  I've done what I can with it, and I'm throwing in the towl.  I need a pro.  Thought I might ask before I do my own research.

    He did a rebuild 3 years ago and now that the trans is hooked up, it won't turn over  . . Even with the plugs out?  I'm curious to see the outcome.    :clueless:

    Ya, I rebuilt the enging and the last thing I did was bolt the flex plate to the torque converter, and now it won't turn.  Either way, with a cheater bar, plugs out, & penetrating oil in the pistons.  I don't have a lift, so into the shop she goes.

    You tried unbolting the flex plate and seeing if it moves then?

    I can't get to all of the bolts without being able to turn the engine.  I'd guess they are going to have to remove the drive shaft and then unbolt the transmission and slide it back.  The trans should be able to come off the torque converter leaving it hanging on to the flex plate, right?  I hope.

    Hum............... you must have  been able to turn the engine over to get all four of the converter bolts in.................. right?

    yeah pull the starter too could be something simple and stupid (it usually is) ive been through this several times take you time and get it apart if i were closer id take a look for ya
