I think it's pretty neat, can't say that I really follow it that much.  I remember when Dave Dudek had a Hemi Challenger and he took out the Hemi and put it in his Dad's car, some sort of B-body, Maybe a '68 or '69 Road Runner, and his Dad's car was faster than the Challenger despite being lighter car.  Had to do with the way the B-body could plant the power or something...  :dunno:

A friend of mine has studied Dudek's car as much as possible, and has been all over the rules to see what can be done.  It's mind boggling the ways to shave weight and still be legal.

I'd love to get a hard copy of a rulebook to study and see what all can be done

 :iagree:

I remember there were a few F.A.S.T. A12 Bee's at Lebanon Valley a few years back when I went.

There's just something about seeing the A12's in person that has always done something to me  :hyper: :jumping:

Not really into F A S T. IMO, all this is is a bunch of rich guys trying to brag about how they have the "Worlds Fastest Stock Car"..When in reallity, it's some 600 C.I., stroked and poked, ported head, extrude hones exhaust/intake, modded carb'ed, and basically, has more money trying to look stock than if they simply bolted on the racing stuff they are trying hard not to look like....

Same as PINKS, No thanks, as round here "Stock" actually means STOCK...

I've been to musclepalozza at leb valley a few times and seen them run.  VERY impressive to see but NOT hear them ripping down the track through full exhaust and cranking out 10's.  Then wander through the pits and see the car up close that could win points in a car show.  I wish it would be televised on speed network.

A '71 Mustang 429 CJ did a 9.84?!?!?  :faint:  I thought they were the porkers of the Mustang family?  :clueless:

Dave Dudek's '69 HEMI Road Runner ONLY did a 9.98!   :roflsmiley:  (Just joking!!!!)

F.A.S.T. is real cool and they all spend a ton of dollars on the body and engines, but I would still rather have a real race car.

Everyone does there own thing. But what the heck, what ever floats your boat..
