70 challenger se door panel gaps or slots on ends?
« on: November 05, 2011 - 01:37:59 PM »
Does anybody know if 70 challenger se door panel have slots or gaps on cut into the ends from the factory?

I was looking at a set and they have 4 slots cut into the ends on set at the top just past the curve and another towards the bottom.

Thanks

What would those slots be for?

I have S/E panels. The only slots cut into them are near the bottom to mount the carpet pieces.

these are on the ends
my only guess is to fit the door curve better  :dunno: they look molded but then they look cute also  :clueless:
