I was using a purple tri coat. My base was black, then a pearl mid coat, then a clear coat on top.
Your actual color comes from the midcoat.

Get the tech sheet from the place you bought the paint from.Do not mix basecoat with clearcoat.

If your using DBC, you need some DBC500 and mix what ever you want as a mid coat in it(solid color or pearl), make a 'let down panel' and go from there.

You order the paint from the supplier. He will give you 2 different colors plus
a clear and the catalyst or hardeners. You spray it according to the directions
that he will supply you with. If you want that gm green paint the way it looks
originally then you spray your test panels until you get the right color for you.
Does this answer your questions?
