Newbies From Ohio (71 Challenger)

After a bit of looking, we finally found this 71 Challenger local to us. We are Mustang people (currently restoring a pair of 68 fastbacks) but we love all cars. We were looking for a nice driver. We have a few minor upgrades planned, but for the most part, this car will be driven! She is a California car that now has a 440 with an automatic transmission. We just swapped the Magnum 500 wheels for a pair of 15" rallye's and the center caps were not finished for these pictures.

Nice car! Welcome to the site. I always like the 428CJ's myself.

Thank you guys! Today I painted the center caps and installed them. We filled the tank and had a night of cruising!

Welcome to the site! Nice score on finding your challenger. I think your Challenger may make your ponies a tad jealous. Have any pictures of your '68's?

I think you're right about the ponies being jealous! Again both are project cars but this one is now in Florida getting her shine on. We started this husband and wife project 3 years ago and she's still not done. Here are some before and after pictures.

Our other 68 is a long way from being brought back from the dead but here is what she looks like:
