I’m Sorry, I figured one of the resident experts would have chimed in, so I could learn as well.
It’s actually pretty straight forward. Disconnect turn signals and remove front splash shield (rock guard). Then the front bumper. Then, find all the fasteners holding in the grill. The headlights don’t need to come out.
Is that too high-level? I guess the question is: how much direction do you need?
FWIW, a couple of summers ago I ordered the ’71 grill hardware from Mega Parts (good vendor). But, even with the Chrysler mechanic manual, I can’t figure out where all the little fasteners go. But, with the grill in place, it doesn’t move, so, I’m happy enough.
While it was apart, aside from rebuilding the grill, I made sure that all the bolts are the same size. I think ¾ inch. Got tired of swapping out socket heads. Please remember though, my car is a Frankenfish. Lord knows how many previous owners had to leave their mark on the car. Proud to say that I got rid all of the metric bolts/nuts (no offense to our European friends)
