Hydroboost
« on: November 26, 2011 - 11:49:30 AM »
Hello,
I'm evaluating to use a hydroboost unit instead of the classic vacuum booster.  I'm very curious to know feedbacks from who did the same. Where I should look to find a good product ?

I've talked with a member either on here or protouring mopar that runs their system. He liked it.

Paul @ hydratech is a top notch guy. I run his hydraboost on my Cuda. I bought mine trough XV Motorsports. Look at Pro Touring and Latheral-G, Paul is there helping everyone with their systems no mather if you're running his unit or went to the scrap and got one of a van. Top service all the way. The booster sure make a bite!

I've been talking to Cass at DrDiff about it and he suggests  his 1 1/8" bore M/C That's what I'm gonna try. I think I'll get the line kit from hydratech! I have "OK" brakes now NO FADE thanks to the EBC pads and Viper caliper but you really have to push to get them to bite. Not a real big issue it's just that when I climb into our family Suburban after driving the Challenger I almost put us all through the front windshield!  So I'm after less pedal effort.

Brad,  I do expect that after you'll upgrade to hydroboost you gonna stop to put all through the windshield...   This is the same reason I'm looking to hydroboost.   Just having an "OEM  like"   easy pedal feeling.
