AM/FM Parts???
« on: January 24, 2012 - 11:49:52 PM »
I have a broken stem on my Motorola AM/FM Mulitplex.   Anyone know who has parts for these??   I am told it is out of a 72-74.

Thanks .... CHAPS.

I am presuming that it is the volume pot and the tone pot.  A couple of sources have told me they don't have it.

I have a local electronics whiz that can replace it, but I would like to get the correct one.   Thanks .... CHAPS

Do you have a picture of it?  I ended up with quite a few left over radio parts when restoring my system.  I'll be happy to check to see if I have one.

Thanks Jamie ... I am sure that this volumer/tone pot is the same for all of these style radios.  At least I am hoping it is?

Afraid I don't have one of those.  I'd be willing to bet the much more common B body radio uses the same pot. If no one here knows the answer,  you should try BigMoneyLewis over on mop arts.  He's the Ward of Ward's Classic Radio repair so he can probably point you in the right direction.
