One more--in 1/64
« on: December 04, 2011 - 03:11:23 PM »
This one is slightly larger than 1/64 scale and the cars are by muscle machines in a cartoonish style.  They have a whole series of these with exagerated blowers and tiress ect. When I was very young and just getting into cars (and models) ----this was a popular thing. All most all my first builds were like the beer wagon, the red baron, beatnik bandit, ect.  And for us older folks who remember Big daddy Ed Roth and his customs and the ever loveable RAT FINK.  That was a great influence on me so i really love the look.  I am also building a few more in 1/24 to give as Christmas presents. And I'm  thinking of building some to sell--- but this will be after the holidays and I get a better idea of what they might be worth.   Doug

Looks terrific!  Would imagine this takes way less room than the 1/24 scale dioramas!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
