why is my challenger bumper like this

74 challenger,did someone cut this to do this for fog lights
What does it profit a man to gain the whole would and lose his soul.

Hmmm...I kind of don't think they were for fog lights.  Most of the time I would imagine using exisiting bumper bolt holes or drilling out holes.  There used to be brackets you could get to attach fog lights but I would imagine they would be under the bumper, not on top, as it added height.

Might have been a parking lot boo boo (weird that it's spaced out evenly).....or Dukes of Hazzard brush guard?    :dunno:

Agreed. Really hard to tell what we're looking at from that pic.

I'd suggest lower and off to the side a bit so it's not so head on....

Either way, doesn't matter, as I don't recall ANY Challengers that year that had Elastomeric (Spelling?) Bumpers painted body color...

Someone had modded the front bumper for whatever reason. MAybe a good canidate for the "Hackjob pics" thread?
