dashpad cleaner?

What are you guys using for dashpad cleaner?

I got a new dashpad from Dave at Roseville and it looks like new.   I am looking for something that will clean 40+ years off of the lower matching pad/trim pieces.

Something with a good deep clean that won't hurt the vinyl.

For the plastic trim, I've been using warm soap and water, mineral spirits, go green, and a degreaser.  If the parts are small enough that you can soak them that is the best.  For black piece I also use multiple coats of Back to Black.  That takes the chalky look and makes them look wet.  You could also dye them

Soap/water and then simple green work well on the plastic trim.  If they still look old then you can mist them with SEM Landau black. 

If you want to spray the A-pillars, kick panels exc.... make sure to use SEM Adhesion Promoter first.

Does the SEM adhesion promoter spray on clear?

My interior is white, A-pillars, window trim, seat back panels, etc.

I plan on using OER brand white interior paint for my cabin trim plastics.

What do I need to know?   This will be a first time for me.

I've had good luck with the SEM brand paints.  They might have the correct white you need.  I don't know if you've already gotten the paint.  IF not, I'd look into the SEM line.

The Adhesion Promoter is clear.  I cleaned my panels 4 times before spraying the Adhesion Promoter.  Cleanliness is everything.  Follow the instructions on the can exactly.  The finished product turns out much nicer if you MIST the paint on.  You may have to do a couple mist coats.  Don't lay it on thick.  Your parts shouldn't look "painted" when you're done.  Mine don't.
