    small stuff driving me crazy

    hi there anybody have the u shaped latch that catches the lock assembly on a e body glovebox?also the 74 challenger i just bought has a 340 with a new 6 pack . however the center carb is missing the choke assembly.kinda a drag sitting for 10 or so minutes until it warms up.the fellow who i bought it from says thats the way he got it.any thoughts  thanks  jeff

    well the choke you could buy a manual choke cable for now to take care of that. on craigslist a guy in rochester,ny has a glove box door for sale. or look in the parts for sale on the site. good luck hope this helped. challenger6pac has parts you should pm him he is a great guy.

     A 10 minute warm up is not unusual with these engines especially if you have forged pistons and a sizable cam.

     Apples and oranges here, but my 340 4-barrel with a Holley DP won't take choke at all.  A few pumps send plenty of fuel to get it started though. :2cents:

    340/6 wasn't a stock option in 74 so we'd probably need to know what carb you have to get the right choke kit.

    thanks guys .. have a latch coming and a backup .as far as the six pack  the center carb is  the stock holley reissue. it came bare as far as choke components.i found this1969 71 SIX PACK HOLLEY CHOKE KIT ON CENTER CARBURETOR MOPAR 13PC NEW
