Window track lubricant?
« on: December 22, 2011 - 10:41:17 PM »
Hey guys, I'm in the middle of replacing one of my quarter window regulators and was wondering what would be the best lubricant to use on the track?

White Lithium Grease.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

The most common variant is Lubriplate and it's available all over the place.  :2cents:

The original chrysler lube was lubriplate put in a small tube. I worked on these cars as a mechanic when they were new

My father in law gave me a small tube of mopar white grease that I will use. I just need the new regulator to show up first.

I used white lithium grease in the spray can.   Worked fantastic.   First you need to get the old waxy grease off and clean all moving points.  A lot of dirt sticks to those areas over the years (40).
