    Newbie with a 73 Barracuda

    Hello All,

    I bought a 73 Barracuda about 2 years ago now. I have slowly been making into what I want, but the car is in very good shape. It's got the original 318 with the 904 automatic transmission. The interior was the worst section of the car and I have already replaced the seat covers. The car was painted and is not an original color, but the paint job was well done. It's got a black vynol top that's in good shape and not a spot of rust on the car. I am looking to drop a 440 into the car and I have the engine I just need an intake and carb to go with it and was looking for suggestions. Pictures to follow.

    As promised, here are some of my pics. Exterior wise the only thing missing on these pictures are the rocker panel trim and the wheel well trim that I added ater these were taken.

    Looks like a pretty cool car!  What was the original color?  A 440 would definitely bring that car to life!  Welcome to the site!   :wave:

    Original color was the Forest Green Metalic. The car drives and performs pretty well for a 318. I will be upgrading the brakes with a disc brake kit from Baer and I am also thinking about putting in a 4 or 5 speed manual, not sure which route I am going.
