70 Cuda rear seats
« on: January 30, 2012 - 09:36:23 AM »
I was looking through my pile of parts I call a 70 Barracuda convertible and noticed (finally) that my rear seat frame is shot. Does anyone make reproductions for these pieces?

Has anyone modified a standard rear seat to fit a vert? The carr will not be a bone stock car so I am willing to make small changes and mods if it will save me of cash to put elsewhere into the project.

Thanks

Looks like PG classics does.

Is your rear frame so bad you can't rebuild it?  I've seen people repair seat frames before by welding.  Probably easier to try to repair your frame than trying to modify a hardtop frame to work in a convertible!

You can use a hard top rear back seat bottom. Only the back is different, so if the back is rebuildable its probably your best option.

That's great. The back (upright piece) looks OK, but the bottom is toast.
