The driver side on my Challenger dash seems to fit well outside, passenger side no go.  I have a funny feeling that they were supposed to be installed on both sides before the dash pad.   Quick answer anyone?   Can't find any reference pics and its been almost 5 years; since they were removed.   :clueless:

Replaced my dash pad with a Just Dashes unit.

Thanks ....  :1zhelp:

The A-pillar covers go in after the dash pad, but if you have a new dash pad, it's probably puffier than the original one, so you're going to have to sand down the inside curve of the molding so it fits over the pad. You also have to gently twist it on as you try to install it, and lastly, be careful when you put the screws into the molding.  Screw heads that are too big or tapered (like on a flat head or oval head screw) can crack the molding.  Cuidado!

I installed mine after the dash pad was in. Is there any room to loosen the dash pad and move it over some to get you more clearance? :dunno:

The dash frame is slotted where the two side bolts attach.(behind the kick panels)  Install the A-pillar trim, loosen the two bolts and lift up the dash(one side at a time) until the dash touches the A-pillar...then lock the bolt down.

The dash doesn't accually sit down on those side bolts.  The frame is slotted so you have some adjustment.

Thanks everyone ..... I was starting to wonder why it wasn't fitting so well.   I will give it a shot one evening this week and report back.   Yes, it is a new slightly puffer version of the original dash.   Thanks for passing all the info and tips. I will loosen it all off and work in each piece.

Question .....  How the heck do you get to the middle bolt at the back??
