Appearantly not here in Idaho. Last fall I lost reverse gear in my tranny. Yesterday I decided to push the car out of the garage and start cleaning it up from all the winter clutter that had built up. Need to put the car up on ramps and pull the pan. Need to fix a bunch of other small items while it's down. Fiqured I would get started on it before the really nice weather hit and then I would be ready for the summer cruisin. But as I pushed it out to the driveway I went a bit farther, and pushed it all the way into the street. Just had to take it around the block to get a bit of the cob webs blown off before it got parked again, and for a little motivation to not procrastinate and get it fixed. Put in my AC/DC tape
and started off. WELL---- four hours later, 240 mile trip around the valley, and a tank of gas (got to fix my gas guage) I got back to my garage. Sure did'nt get as much cleaning done as I had planned---but have a whole lot more motivation.
As I was out I must of passed at least 30--40 motorcycles. They were all bundled up,and most had face shields on but they were out in force. People were out on bikes and in the parks a bit. We have not had much of a winter here in Boise at all. Temps have been above average for quite a while. It was sunny and 50, had a great drive, but I bet winter is not quite over yet. Might be just a bit early to get to excited, so it's off to the garage.
