I'll start with a little bit of background info... my girlfriends dad put a kenne bell twin screw supercharger on her 2010 challenger r/t as well as dynatech long tubes and corsa cat back exhaust... It was running really rough and we had a diablo predator tuner which we were playing with getting the right A/F ratios as well as a few other tune ups with shift firmness.  It was really bogging down under WOT.  We would pull in the garage, mess with the tuner a little bit and then go for a test drive and repeat....

...well one of the times her dad was driving and pulled down a small road and floored it... my girlfriend and I were both in the car with him while he was driving and kept telling him to slow down because cops were notorious on this 35 mph speed limit road.  He replied with "oh no, oh no, I'm fine just shut up!"  Well about that time blue lights popped up in the rear view.  We were laughing so hard and were giving him so much **** because he didn't listen to us.  He ended up getting to around 85 mph (and climbing fast) when the cop's lights came on.  I thought for sure he was screwed.  ...Well the cop pulled up and got out (was a younger guy about my age in his 20's) and walked to the window... first words out of his mouth were, sir you car sounds soooo good!!! He knew he had him at that point, he explained the situation to the cop and told him the speedo was off from bigger tires and that we were just trying to get the car running right.  He ate up every bit of it... we even asked him if he wanted to go for a ride with us, but he said he couldn't because he was so busy... he gave my gf's dad a warning and proceeded to pull over and write a ticket to a car passing us while we were stopped for going half the speed we were  :ylsuper: There's something about my girlfriends father that I just don't get... he has a stack of about 20 warning tickets at home, he always smooth talks his way out of it somehow, it's amazing.

This happened last october.  Not too crazy, just lucky the cop was a nice guy.

Was driving to Walmart, and a cop pulled up right behind me.  Right then, I remembered my tags expired three weeks earlier, and knew he was gonna pull me over.  Sure enough...  I hand him my license and registration, but can't find my current proof of insurance.  I tear my glovebox apart looking for it, but nothing.  Realized it was sitting on my desk at home.  Strike two.  Cop comes back to the window and says "did you know your license expired two days ago?"  Strike three.

Luckily, he just gave me a fix-it ticket.  Took off work early the next day, and got it all taken care of.

I once got nine tickets in one day, 3 from 3 separate police departments, all on one trip
Got pulled over for speeding, given a speeding ticket, expired reg(2days), no proof of insurance(I had ins but the paper was exp). I was speeding 12mph over.  I continued on my voyage, driving slowly, now that I was advised of my expired registration. A car flys past me, and i get pulled over again. I get the same three tickets, again.  I began my journey(visiting my grandparents) again, and was pulled over for going three miles over the speed limit. When I showed the officer the six tickets he stated "well you should have just gone home after your first 3".

Reminds me of when like 20+ years ago, my brother got caught THREE TIMES by the same police officer for an expired inspection sticker in like a 2 week period.

The officer said something like, "The first 2 times I was being nice, this time it's just plain stupid." then he gave my brother a ticket!  :roflsmiley:

One night, down Houston way, I was on my way home. (1230 am or so) I'm at a stop light. No other cars around. This Ford Taurus pulls up next to me and starts revving his motor. I thought what is this idiot doing, and when the light turned green I nailed it. Look in the rear view and lights are flashing! I pulled over, and it was an undercover cop. Turns out he just wanted to see what my GN would do. He had me pop the hood and kept saying, Man, I wish the department would buy us these things! LOL. He was really cool. He didn't have any intention on giving me a ticket, just wanted to check things out! lol. We chatted quite a while. It was all good.
