Auto to manual conversion

I have priced out the conversion with Keisler tko600 complete, American powertrain 6-speed tremec T56 have to modify tunnel on my own, and the Passon 5-speed Jamie priced out a complete swap for me. I plan on going with the manual 5-speed from Passon. I am going to go ahead and get the 4-speed hump so my body guy can make the body modification. My question is this, Does someone have a template to insure the hump is installed in the correct position? Since I will not be ready for the transmission for some time yet.

Todd, check other threads on this, as some humps fit really well, while others don't fit perfectly.

Placement of hump is kinda self explanatory. it kinda fits the contour of the floor.

The hump will be moulded to follow the various contours of the floor pan. (assuming your floor pan is stock)

ie, there's really only one "correct" position, so it's hard to get placement wrong.

Beyond the actual position of the hump, there's some cutting involved in the floor pan to allow clearance of the shifter/rods. But since you're installing something other than an A833 tranny, I wonder if the stock-type cuts would work, or be needed with your non-stock tranny... ?

Grec, according to Jamie at Passon all I will need to do is install the factory hump since his 5-speed  (A855) is the only five speed transmission on the market that is a direct bolt-in replacement for the A-833 four speed. Bolts into your car with NO modifications! I was not sure about the hump placement. That does make since there would be only one pleace to cut it in. Did not think about it that way. This forum rocks and you guys have been a big help to a first time builder.
