I'm seeing what the dollar does, our dollar is strong to teh USD right now. If the USD comes up in value, it will be time to sell then.
True the NZ$ vs US$ is also good. $1 buys 70c US.  ;D Use to be about 55c  :ack:

Mine all look the same, it is possible for there to be minor diff's if they came from more than one supplier, or diff build date. If the part #'s are the same this can be the only explanation.

Here are 2 more pictures of the wheels looking straight at them. You can see the difference in the spokes.
JS27NOB, yes it's very possible that there may have been other suppliers, but I'm not sure. Maybe a different build date, but why make such a subtle difference? That's why I'm trying to get all input. Does anybody else have an original e-body equipped rimblow wheel that we could compare? Thanks, Jim.

No doubt there is a difference in the two wheels you show. I'd like to see two wheels from the same year side by side. Your pic shows a 70 e body wheel and a 71 A body wheel. My wheel looks like the 71 A body one you show. Since the part #'s are the same, I cant see how they could have diff wheels for a bodies and e bodies, how would they tell them apart with the same part # ? Maybe what we have here is a different manufacturer for 70 than 71. That would explain the slight difference in wheels, but having the same part #. Or even as suggested above, diff manufacturers in the same year.
Pretty intresting thread, thanks for the pics 70cudajim!

Wow! I stand corrected! I just received an email from Doug Lepak the steering wheel guy. Here's what he said. The rimblow I have with the sharper bent spokes IS a 70 wheel and the wheels with the gradual bends on the spokes are 71's. I'm glad this has now been brought to light. Jim

Actually,

Just sold Dean the only one I had that had rusty spokes. Forgot to look to see if it was one with the sharper bends, I'm pretty sure all my wheels have the gradual bends.
