ever dry tried to steel from me and got caught

me and my wife bought our house about 4 years ago or so and found out it needed warter proffing so we call around and get the prices and what not.the estment was for 13k for all work and a eazy breath thing.so we say ok get us a loan and they are doing it for us with the bank .so 4 or 5 weeks go buy the sales guy comes back and says to sing some papers for the loan.he now say it will be 9500 or so and no easy breath thing as thats all the bank will give them.but we are still being chargerd the 13k pluse intrest i said why he says that is a bank fee for giving you the loan.it sounded funny to mebut the wife says to do so the basment will be fixed so we do.they do the work and it looks good to me.so all is happy i get a call last night from the bank and they ask me how the job went and so forth.so he tells me its 13k for the job and i said no it was 9500 or so the rest was your bank fees he says no they do not do that,and everdry told them that the coust of the job was 13k not the 9500 so the bank is not going to pay them untile it is right.what is wrong with people i wounder if this is a crime if so i am going to make shure they dont try to steel from any one else.

Definitely a crime if they are quoting you $9,500 and the bank is paying them $13K.  Give them a chance to make it right, or tell them you are going to the police.

thats right ever dry lied to us and the bank.the guy at the bank said he would call them and try to stratien them out.so we have not called ever dry yet .the bank is going to call them ,then call us back in a few days

i just dont get it,i own a small lawn fert biz and i would never do that to a custmer.you have to make money,i understand that. i work hard for my money and i dont need it stollen from me.if you think about it the job was 9500 or so it coust them maybee 3k to 3500 at the most in parts and laber .so the rest was profet 6k profet and then you feel you need to steel 3500 from me so you get a total of 9500 for free.we are going to see what the bank says and take it from their you cant trust any one theese days.

I dunno....reminds me of autobody scams.... only $1,000 in damages but the body shop estimate comes out to $1,500, customer leaves with his car fixed, body shop pockets $500 and insurance goes up and everyone else pays in the end....

ok i just heard from the bank and do to everdrys lying to them they are not giving a loan now and said they will never deal with them again.so now i dont know what to do ,the bank says everdry tryed to fraud them and us.i will see if they can send me something that says this.i will not let them get me anther loan,and i will not pay them direct after they tryied to steel from me. so now what do i do.i will calla few lawers tomrow and see what they say what a mess at least the work was done lol.
