Thanks for the nice welcome, my Polara 500 is the exact twin of the one I had in high school and college, but got repossessed when my step-dad went bankrupt and he had the title in his name, I was too young. I always swore I would get it back, but when I had enough money, I couldn't find it. After 20 years of looking for an identical, original, pristine, non-cutup example, I finally found one in a little old lady's garage in Long Beach. She died at 94, was the original owner, and it was identical to my old one, right down to the B&B 2-barrel carbed 383. I repainted it, but everything else is as she came from the LA factory. I really have enjoyed it these years, my wife and I met, dated, married, and went on our honeymoon in that car, and could put everything we owned in it too for a few years (big trunk you know), and when I got one like it back, we were able to celebrate our 35th and 40th wedding anniversary in it.
But time to move on, so I have now closed the deal on the AAR, picture attached. It is quite famous I understand, it won 1st at the Mopar Nationals in 2007 in the AAR/TA class and won senior first place in 2008.
